Convert Any Database To WordPress
Hello everyone;
It took 25 years for the Internet to fully become part of our lives. During this time, the first websites we see are static. In other words, websites that were created without an administration panel had to be edited again from the codes when updated. In this case it was a waste of time and required several pages to be prepared. However, nowadays this situation is handled by dynamic websites. Dynamic websites, on the other hand, mean that the existing website has an administration panel. At the same time, we were able to eliminate page density in the database file. This will not put any strain on the server you are using. We will integrate WordPress, the open source that I always use, into WordPress with another software prepared previously. I'll show you how to protect the link structure to avoid data loss on Google.
1- Access the old site's database file and make the necessary changes.
You need to download your current site's database file as .xml. This is not a requirement, you can download it as .sql if you want, but I work with .xml and integrate it into WordPress faster and easier. If you are using a Linux server, you can access your database file via phpmyadmin.
Below you will find the description of the locations marked by the red arrow in the image.
1-We select the database name.
2-Export Click on the tab.

1-Custom – select all possible options.
2-XML Scroll down the page.

3. Wir laden die Datenbankdatei auf unseren Computer herunter, indem wir auf der Seite nach unten scrollen und unten auf die Schaltfläche Exportieren klicken..
As you will see when we look at the downloaded XML file, you will see all the content and media files on your website. You will understand that it happens in a certain order and order. If this is the case, we can easily integrate it with WordPress. It is possible to do this manually, but I prefer using a helper plugin as it takes a lot of time. The name of this plugin is Wp All Import. Thanks to this plugin it also helps us to integrate all the content of your website or think of an e-commerce website and all your product files. This also allows me to transfer your image files. You just need to be able to use the plugin properly. To purchase this add-on you can access the link below.

2- Transferring our database file to the new site using the plugin
After installing the Wp All Import plugin, we will go to the page where we add our database file by clicking on the All Import tab in the WordPress admin area.
Upload a file By clicking on the button we upload our .xml file here. Depending on the size of your XML file, it may take some time.
If you want to add content to articles, pages or Woocommerce, add it in the tab under New Articles After the installation process is complete, you need to make an appropriate selection. I will continue by adding articles (posts).
As you can see in the image above, the tags are classified in the .xml file I uploaded. As you can see, it says 1 for the database. For example, the table is 2392. We open the .xml file so that you can understand it better.
It's a database file from an old news site that I uploaded. As you can see in the image above, the area between the table tags is a loaded message. As you can see, the title tag is the name of the message, description is the details of the message and image is the image of the messages. You already know what these terms mean because this task requires you to have a certain level of programming knowledge. First, let's just add the news to the posts in worpdress. Then you can find the tags of your other pages, reload them and import them according to those tags. Now let’s pick up where we left off in the WordPress admin area.
We continue by selecting the appropriate label on the left. As I said, our messages are written to the database under the table tags, so I'll continue like this.
Below you will find the description of the locations marked by the red arrow in the image.
As seen in the video below for 1 and 2, we further process by pulling from .xml.
Now save your image files associated with your site in the path where they are located on the server. Moving all images to the same path on your new website will make this process easier to complete.
As you can see in the video above, I assumed I had the images on our own server and made the selection accordingly. Then I made the image tag. You can check whether the image has been uploaded by clicking Preview. The reason it doesn't show up for me is because the images aren't active at the moment.
You can complete custom fields, taxonomies, tags, and other text settings by dragging them over .xml in this way. Then we go to the final process by saying “Next”.
Hopefully it will benefit your business. Since there are so many websites these days that are based on old systems, this method can be used to get a fresh start with WordPress.
I wish everyone a pleasant day…🙂🙂
